The other night I made one of soil stud's favorite meals, Baked Spaghetti Pizza.  It's hearty, saucy, and delicious!

Here are the ingredients you will need:  1 lb. ground beef, 2 T. chopped onion, 2 T. Butter, 1/2 lb. spaghetti, 2 Jars Spaghetti Sauce, 1/2 lb. shredded mozzarella, 1/2 lb. shredded swiss, 1/2 package of pepperoni, and oregano.

Brown ground beef and onion until no longer pink.

Cook spaghetti according to directions on package.  I used whole grain spaghetti for the first time and loved it!

Drain spaghetti and place cooked spaghetti in a 9X13 pan.  Slice butter and stir into spaghetti.

Put half of ground beef and onions on top.  (I freeze the remaining half for next time or just use the whole pound, how can you say no to beef?)

Pour one jar of the spaghetti sauce over the beef.
Place pepperoni on top of sauce.  (For some reason I bough monster-sized pepperoni at the store!)

Put both cheeses on top of pepperoni.  I actually used mozzarella and provolone.  Honestly, any cheese will do.

We like it cheesy!

Pour the 2nd jar of sauce over the cheese.

Cover with foil and bake at 350 for 30 minutes, remove foil and bake for another 10 minutes.

Let's pretend I served this with a healthy side salad.

This meal freezes well and can be made a day or two in advance before baking.
